Swirl Through The Circle

By Sonny Go

What is a free mind? Is it an independent consciousness or is it independent from your consciousness?
The human mind has a limit in perception. It cannot handle anything that the person doesn't either expect or understand. In these cases, one must understand that a person is bound to the conditions imposed by his surroundings. There are no ways around it or through it, or at least that's what most people say.
We are bound by the rules and conditions of reality. There is no doubt about that fact. We can all feel that. We can all testify to that. We know how much we would wish that we could do anything we wanted to do, but just can't because it's not plausible. We know how limiting it can be, and we are all pissed off. But then, the only thing we could do is utilize the last remaining tools in the box. Forgiveness and acceptance.
But how true is reality? Is something ever universal for everyone? Is reality uniform? Is it true for everyone that sushi is delicious? Is it true for everyone that roller coasters are fun? Is it true for everyone that rock music is good? Is it true for everyone that sex is enjoyable? It seems that we are now getting closer to a conclusion here. We know some people like these things, but not everyone. But this is not the only argument applicable to this.
For you see, it seems that reality is somehow subjective for humans. Each individual sees it in a different light. Whatever a person deems as a form of freedom and pleasure may be deemed as slavery and suffering for another. Reality is how your 5 senses percieve it and how your mind shapes it. It somehow proves Solipsism to be true. But that's my reality. How it may be to you might be quite different.
Life is a surreal thing. We may think that it is all real and that we are all awake when we think that we are. But some people have felt that it is all a dream, that it's not actually happening and that there must be something else different and more real than that. This might be the case for some people, as it is mine as well. I know for a fact that some have thought about it, because we have references to prove that there have been trips to that certain direction. For example, the Hagakure tells us that we are all actually dead right now, that life is a state of sleep and that death is the awakening of an individual to reality. Interesting thought there, but not everyone agrees. It doesn't seem logical and sound completely like trash, but I beg to differ. Before a debate is started by this topic, may we all sit back and say to ourselves, "Wait a minute. Let's see...".
How can we shape our reality into a better reality? Is there such a way? Maybe there is. We don't have to worry, because life is just a ride. By the time we get off, we would realize that we could've actually driven ourselves towards a better direction if only we had tried. Don't worry too much, because it's just a ride. We are exploring space, inner and outer, right now, and we better open our eyes for real now or we might not catch a glimpse of a really spectacular sight.
What you have read is just something to make you think a bit more about where you stand now. There is no preaching of any sort of pre-concieved truth here or anything else. It is just something to make you think about a lot of things. May we think about it and concieve new ideas and evolve as a human race, forwards and not backwards.
Life and reality is quite surreal, and there is no turning back. It's like swirling through a circle into a portal that leads to a new world, where there is no jealousy or boredom, and we could live together in peace and harmony forever, but only if we could join hands and try it together.
